Seriously. Finished watching Gurren Lagann. Oh man was it good. I mean. Words cannot describe it. Like a Volcano, lava flows out under pressure! I... It's just too amazing. A drill that pierces the Heavens! I... can't stop spouting lines. I mean, Kamina is just so awesome. He transcends DEATH to save his friends. That is a real masterpiece right there.

All awesomeness aside, (I'm so glad Rossiu redeemed himself, though I would have liked him to be part of the Final Battle) the ending was great, but the epilogue kind of irked me. I mean, Simon, Kamina's successor; the guy who 'wanted to live in a world without a ceiling!' and one who 'got through everything with his fighting spirit!' I refuse to believe that it's in his character to just drift away; moving through the world like a shadow. I mean, what happened to the man of action!? It seemed a little strange to me. Maybe he did help the world somehow, but by the looks of it, he just watched. I mean, not even Viral, the immortality was so he could 'watch as the world advanced', stayed back and did nothing. Seriously, Simon. I get it; you loved Nia. She's the only one for you. Big deal. Move on and help Rossiu reconstruct the world's government or something! ~~Make yourself useful, you drilling lump~~

And I do have another complaint. The... artstyle, of the older cast in the epilogue. (Except Gimmy and Darry. They were excellent) I mean, Dayakka was in his forties at first and he had a structure! Being 40 does not make you an old, ugly man. I am actually glad they didn't show Yoko. Seeing her-- eeeeek. Come on! Rossiu went from shota to bishounen in 7 years! What is the deal? 20 years does not equal loss of EVERYTHING. They're 40 years young, dammit D<

Also, lol. Leeron didn't age. Gayness contains the secret of eternal life Y/Y?
