We interrupt this fangirl to bring you a page-stretching bulletin
I went to see Defiance yesterday. It was really good! Daniel Craig? What's not to like? I suggest you all go watch it! Not only cuz I think Daniel Craig is mad sexy (more on that under the cut) but because the accents are amazing. I mean, I'm no linguist, but man. Everyone sounded like they should have. Germans spoke German (and looked German). Polish (or Belarus at the time) spoke Polish (I'm guessing. The subtitles were in Spanish, so I dunno *sigh*) and Russians spoke Russian! (Also, even though I know Coral doesn't read my LJ; I wiki'd it and Belarus is still a country. As of 1991. Take that!)
When they spoke English, they sounded like it wasn't their first language, which is the whole point of a war movie, isn't it? After watching Valkyrie and listening to Tom Cruise's (short, but very obvious) German, I was so pleased to hear all the actors speaking these beautiful European languages! There were literally times where it took me a second to notice that they were talking English (like when they mumbled after speaking Polish. They'd also curse in it sometimes, which I thought was great) Overrall, the foreign languages didn't feel tacked on, but instead it balanced perfectly with the accented-English. Actually, it's more like the foreign languages were the main focus as it should be.
Anyway, while watching the movie there was one thing that kept catching my eye. In a world so filled with grays and browns, one image shone through the darkness and that was... Daniel Craig's eyes. They are mesmerizing, and I will show you why.
This is Daniel Craig,

aka James Bond. British born, yadda yadda.
Exhibits A and B for his most refined sex appeal:

He is certainly very easy on the eyes, but admit it! You look at these pictures and where does your vision go? Right to his crystal blue eyes. Look at that shade! It's a blue that nature just doesn't make anymoreor so it seems to me, anyway
I mention this because during the movie, his perfect-hue eyes were extremely obvious, for reasons already stated. I started fangirling (need to learn to keep inside-voice separate from outside-voice) about it during the movie and Coral and Claudia started making fun of me for it! So what! I-I like his eyes. S'not a big deal...
LOOK AT THEM. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL.

YOU COULD GET LOST IN THE SKY OF HIS GLISTENING EYES.
