FMLFMLFMLFML

MY POOR MONEY MANAGEMENT SKILLS MANAGING MY MONEY HAS LEFT ME IN DEPAIR!

I had to pay half the microfridge to my roommate cuz she paid for it. I wrote her a check and everything. This was a month ago. In that time I have gone to New York, seen Blue Man Group and bought BSB posters.

NOW I LEARN THAT SHE ACTUALLY HAD HER MOM CASH IT. TODAY.

Dood, did you use the account booklet? You're supposed to use that to deduct and add money to/from your account... so that that doesn't happen. o_o; Ask your parents to send you more money, and really spend it judiciously. How much did you have to start with?

[identity profile] yellowdi.livejournal.com 2009-10-05 01:43 am (UTC)(link)
no. That's not the problem. It doesn't matter when your roommate's mom cashed the check, Janet. The second you write a check, you should deduct that money from your account. Just because your roommate's mom deducted the money later, doesn't mean you would have spent less money in NY. If she had.... you probably still would have been in the red. Get my point?

Don't go the round-about way to excuse yourself. You mismanaged your money. End of story. D:
