Writer's Block: Voulez-vous parler ...
I am a huge geek for languages. Like, you would not believe how much I love them. The grammar, the lexicon, the reasons behind each and every idiom... I love it all! /maniacal laughter
[Error: unknown template qotd] Currently, I speak Spanish and English. I was in Chinese Club for about two years (don't remember that much at all.) I'm taking Japanese, I took French from 4th-6th grade (and can still read French relatively well, wouldn't mind becoming fluent some day) and now I really want to learn Portuguese because I can understand it almost perfectly, as long as it's written down. It's so much like Spanish! Learning Portuguese would be awesome~
Now... why on earth would I want to know 5 languages? Because languages are cool, that's why.
In other news, I'm procrastinating an essay and therefore, really hyper. I'll get back to work now and just leave this here...

Now it feels like it's harder to learn them though...the best I can do is to buy CD's for the various ones, and those are kinda expensive. College HAS language courses, but they're all only 1 semester, which I don't think is really enough to learn more than a basis dusting. =\ (IMO you need 2-3 semesters...)
My W.B. only allowed for one language, but really I wanna be fluent in, besides English: Italian/Japanese/Hungarian/Polish/Korean/Mandarin/French/Finnish/Greek/Norwegian. A lot, LOL. Learning other languages like Russian and Arabic wouldn't be bad either, though I don't want to be fluent in those as much as just have a basic knowledge.

Also wanna know Lithuanian, hmm~ <3 And Swedish I think might be easy because it seems similar to Latin as far as grammar goes. 0___o (There was a post in Hetalia comm. once with Swedish/Finnish lessons and I picked up on the Swedish pretty easily because I was like, "Oh, this is kinda like Latin!" Finnish was much harder, that was just memorization.)

My college doesn't offer Portuguese D: It makes me sad... I might cross-register or something...
