I need to wake up early tomorrow (today) so I really shouldn't be RPing or posting here. Pfft, like that's every stopped me before!

Anyway, I saw Nine today. It was excellent! Such a star-studded cast~ The acting was stellar, the music was incredible and the art direction was just top notch! Definitely Oscar material. I saw Avatar a few days ago too, and while it was very pretty, I couldn't see past the bad guy's cardboard cut-out-ness and that made the experience painful for me. Why were the bad guys so hell-bent on being bastards? Why? They weren't being "Used as a Device," no. When you take it to the extreme like they did in Avatar, you go past For Teh Evulz and just become a Villian Sue. Yes, I looked it up on TVTropes cuz it bothered me way too much. (P.S. General Whatshisname is the Boring Invincible Villain and Tychoon Whoeverhewas is the Villain Sue.)

Also, I have a super-mega-ton of icons to post, since reichu's tutorial inspired me to play with Selective Colors. The best part about it is, once you have the layers, all you have to do is swap out the bases and voila~! ---But that will have to wait because tomorrow is going to be a busy day. We (my family, Diana and maybe Natalia) are going to see some new suspension bridge they built in Naranjito, and after that it's Ana's yearly Pre-New Year's birthday party.

Speaking of New Year's, I may actually get to celebrate my birthday on its date with my friends! They're hell-bent on seeing Sherlock Holmes that day (it comes out here on that day, don't ask me why it's late)

OH! I remembered what I wanted to say! So, remember that story you asked me to write, where the characters had to be gay? lul I finished it.

I think it ends pretty quickly, but by the time I got there I kinda just wanted to end it. I felt like I was just dragging everything else to that point. The ending is also kinda "this is a perfect world" kind of thing.

xD It's not xxx-rated like that last one. I mean, it's got some o' dem goods, but nothing like yaoi fanfiction. There's a bit of "and it felt amazing" kind of stuff. Uhh... whatever. But, I think there's some pretty funny stuff in there though :3 Even if the jokes are kinda lame

lol I do that ALL the time: whenever I need to be up early (or worse, have to go outside somewhere) I ether usually can't sleep or something else keeps me up till a stupid time so I end up having to cancel or be a coffee fueled zombie x_x

You have the same birthdate as my dad, not that I ever remember it (or people's bdays in general) despite the significance of the date itself - or I remember up until the day before then forget XD

But but hurrah for celebrating stuff! I should really do something for my bday next time since I did nothing for Christmas and most likely nothing for new year ether...

That happens a lot with my birthday! People forget cuz they're too busy partying, or they remember specifically because they're partying. I've always ended up celebrating it in February, though, since school's out that day. I sure hope I get to do something cool this year; most of my friends will be going back to their respective colleges on the first week of January, so I don't have a lot of time~

Ohmigosh, I'm excited to see the Sherlock Holmes movie as well. My hopes are pretty high, so I hope they don't disappoint.
Speaking of Avatar though, I agree with you on the "cardboard cut-out-ness", it was one of the downfalls that prevented me from fully enjoying the movie. Anyways, Happy Birthday and Happy New Year to you, enjoy your party! :)
